Arthroscopic surgery is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat joint conditions. Small incisions allow a tiny camera and specialized instruments to repair damaged cartilage, ligaments, or tendons. Commonly performed on the knee, shoulder, and hip, it enables faster recovery, reduced pain, and improved joint function.
Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is a surgical procedure to replace a torn or damaged ACL ligament in your knee with a new ACL tissue graft obtained most commonly from your own body (autograft) or in rare cases from a deceased donor (allograft).
Tommy John surgery, or ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction, is a procedure to repair a torn UCL in the elbow—often caused by repetitive stress in throwing athletes. The damaged ligament is replaced with a tendon from another part of the body, helping restore strength and stability for a return to sport.
Total shoulder replacement surgery is performed to relieve symptoms of severe shoulder pain and disability due to arthritis. In this surgery, the damaged articulating parts of the shoulder joint are removed and replaced with artificial prostheses.
